Classes & Workshops

Feeling stressed, stiff or scattered? Time to reconnect. Come join us Thursday evenings for yoga at the historic Monday Club in Webster Groves.

Each week over an eight-week series, we explore a slightly different yoga practice. We start by focusing on the head and neck, then gradually move down the body, exploring traditional yoga poses. Every class starts with gentle breathwork and ends with a period of relaxation beneath a festively lit ceiling.

All props are provided—including blocks, blankets, eye pillows, and extra mats—but you're encouraged to bring your own mat and arrive a bit early.

There are no workshops scheduled at this time.

Chair Yoga

@ 5:45p.m.

The chair yoga sessions can be done entirely seated, but there are also options for standing and using the chair as a prop if you prefer. All adults are welcome, regardless of age or fitness level, as we explore traditional yoga poses in a way that is accessible to everyone.

This 15-minute video clip, taken from the middle of a typical chair yoga session, offers a glimpse into the Thursday evening classes held at the historic Monday Club in Webster Groves.

Slow Flow Yoga

@ 7p.m.

During the slow flow yoga sessions, we may sit, stand, and occasionally do some kneeling poses on the mat. We explore breathing practices and common yoga poses, ending with Savasana.

In the 15 minute session featured below, taken from the middle of a typical one-hour class, the pause between breaths is emphasized—first using the pause mindfully as a transition into the next pose, and then flowing without the pause to experience the contrast.

Student Reviews

I’m not an exercise buff, yet I finally found a routine to take care of my body as well as my mind: Pam’s chair yoga. It is calming and soothing and helps take away the tension that I so often walk around with. I walk into class feeling stressed and walk out free to deal with my world, plus my body has stretched and become more balanced. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite days of the week is Thursday! That is when Pam leads us in her yoga practice. Not only does it keep my old bones from getting stiff, it feeds my soul! I have been practicing with Pam for about 15 years. I hate when I have to miss a class. My kids know not to ask me to babysit on Thursday evenings because they know I will say “no”. (That is the only time.) I appreciate Pam’s leadership, friendship and her passion for health and healing through yoga.

I’ve been taking Zoom yoga classes with Pam since the pandemic and it’s been a wonderful experience. Her voice is incredibly soothing - so even though we’re not in the same room, it still feels calm and grounding. Pam guides each session with clarity, kindness, and care. As a beginner, I really appreciated how she explained things in a way that’s easy to follow, without any pressure. If you’re new to yoga or looking for a gentle, welcoming vibe, I highly recommend Pam’s classes.
